Dr. Craig Swainey is a Medical Director at the Coleman Institute for Addiction and 2 methadone clinics in the Richmond Virginia area.

He is also an addict in recovery.

“I don’t remember a time in my life where I didn’t feel shame.”

After losing his wife, his job, all his friends, he hit bottom.

“I finally surrendered, I didn’t know what to do, I couldn’t prescribe my way out of it. I was broken.”
