Published: March 4, 2022, 11 a.m.

“I woke up on a slab, they brought me back. I did some red shit I never saw before, one puff and I went down.”

Joe is a person in recovery in Regina, SK.

“That person is still here, but he’s been put to sleep. I just don’t want to hurt anyone anymore.”
He went down a dark path from a very young age.

"I was getting drunk at 6 years old, I used to get the foam off my Dad's beer, we called it 'the icing'."

Tune in this week and listen to Joe #takeofftheblinders around this family disorder we call addiction.

We'll talk about what Joe was like, what happened, and how he found a new, safer way to live.

“It really doesn’t cost anything to be nice to people. If I can help someone just by listening, that’s amazing to me, maybe they’ll decide to go the other way.”

Don't miss this one friends, as Joe talks about the darkness that is addiction, and the blinding light that can come through healing
