My Life With Karma: The Story of an Addicted Police Officer and His Dog.

Published: April 30, 2022, 9 p.m.

“I got arrested and taken to jail in my uniform. I was paraded around the precinct in handcuffs.”

Travis Sackett was arrested on duty for credit card fraud to support his habit.

A dog he rescued at the height of his addiction walked with him through the chaos, her name was Karma.

“On my darkest day I was in solitary confinement, traumatic brain injury, couldn’t talk. I had to find a better way. I was so scared that Karma wouldn't be ok without me.”

Tune in this week and hear Travis #takeofftheblinders around the human animal bond.

We'll talk about how he found her starving and chained to a tree, then how she walked with him even when nobody else would.

“Looking back now, I see that the light that brought me through it all, was my life with Karma."

You won't want to miss this one friends as we paw at the door of understanding this week right here, on Hard Knox Talks.

Buckle up!
