"I Pulled The Trigger 3 Times": Real Talk With The Grateful Dad.

Published: Dec. 22, 2022, 1 p.m.

"My clean date is December 5th 2001 that is also the anniversary of my suicide attempt."

G. Dad is an artist and a festival vendor.

"I made my first tie-dyes in a hotel bathtub in late 1985, fall tour with a guy named “veggie” and his buddy “chicken.” We ruined that bathtub before we checked out and then we went and ruined a laundromat around the corner and boom that’s how it began."

After a wild and dark ride through addiction, today G. Dad work to bring light back into the eye's of those lost as he once was.

"I’m just a real honest person who’s been through a lot of real tough s*** and I’m not afraid to talk about it. I was a terrible person who just got it all out of my system and now I want to let people know that you can still enjoy the [festival] scene without being one of the bad parts."

I quickly realized during our pre interview session that this man has a powerful message and a way with words, so I am honored to give platform to Stephen Pemberton better known as The Grateful Dad, this week right here,

On Hard Knox Talks.

Buckle up!
