I Couldn't Stop Using: The Story of One Basement to Another.

Published: April 12, 2022, 1 p.m.

"I was spiritually bankrupt and I wanted to die."

Shane started using heavy in Grade 7.

Years later he found Crack in Calgary, AB.

It all went fuzzy after that,

"I remember people telling me they were gonna drive their car into my house. I had to leave Calgary or I was going to die."

Tune in this week and listen to Shane #takeofftheblinders around the realities of addiction.

"The best thing my family ever did for me, was to put their foot down and say

'no more.'"

We'll talk about what he was like, what happened, and how he found the productive life he has today.

"Even with all the struggles in life, If I did nothing else right today, I can be grateful I stayed clean."

So make sure you check us out as we walk through the darkness, to find the light again this week right here, on Hard Knox Talks.

Buckle up.
