How to not be an asshole to addicts, with Kayla Demong.

Published: Jan. 24, 2022, 6 p.m.

"I came home to broken glass everywhere, and the drug dealers kids were in the middle of this chaos."

Kayla walked a dark path to get to where she is today.

"I wasn't a gang member, I was a Broadway skid kid. I did what I had to do with men to get my drugs."

Tune in this week and listen to Kayla #takeofftheblinders around substance use in Saskatoon, SK.

We'll talk about what it was like, and how she got to where she is today.

Teaching professionals how to not be assholes to people who use drugs.

But that's only one role she plays with Prairie Harm Reduction.

We're going to hear about it all.

"The safe consumption site is only about 2% of what we do here at PHR."

You're not going to want to miss this one my friends as we smash stigma in its stupid face this week right here, on Hard Knox Talks.
