Ex-gang member Rob Kraushaar tells his story from Regina, SK.

Published: Sept. 22, 2021, noon

Gang life, drug dealing, homelessness, needles.

Rob's lifestyle ended him up in the hospital, heart valve hanging on by a thread.

"I put my I.V. pole in my drug dealer's back seat so we could drive around the hospital parking lot and smoke meth."

Rob didn't have a terrible upbringing, he made friends easily but something inside him had other plans.

"I was arrested at 14 years old for my first stolen car"

Throughout his teens and 20s, Rob was lost in addiction.

"My parents would have cop cars sitting outside their house waiting for me to come home."

And then in his thirties, it went pitch black.

Tune in this week and listen to Rob #takeofftheblinders around the realities of addiction. He'll talk about how it felt, and exactly what happened that drove him to find a new way to live, right here, on Hard Knox Talks.

Buckle up!!
