Published: Feb. 22, 2022, 1 p.m.

“I ended up in Lloydminster, alone in an apartment, Winchester in my mouth. Couldn’t find the bullets."

Kirk is an Addictions Counsellor from Regina, SK.

“I got taken under the wing of old school AA, but I’ve come to learn that it wasn’t the program that saved me, it was the fellowship.”

Tune in this week and listen to Kirk #takeofftheblinders around addiction and old-school recovery.
"It's not for everyone, but this is what worked for me."

We'll talk about what it was like, what happened, and what he's doing now to help others find their way to a safer life.

“If I can help some people with their addiction in some small way, I think I’m gonna be ok at the end of it all.”

You won't want to miss this one friends as we dig into the evolution of recovery in Saskatchewan right here this week, on Hard Knox Talks.

Buckle up.
