Boots on the Ground: Front Line Harm Reduction Nurse, Jennifer Eyford.

Published: Jan. 14, 2023, noon

"Harm reduction is kindness, this world is cruel enough."

Jennifer is a front line Nurse for Alberta Health Services, she has had many powerful experiences working along peer support workers in harm reduction environments.

I was fortunate enough to sit in on her TED X style talk at the Canadian Society of Addictions Medicine Conference in Saskatoon, SK this past November and was deeply moved by her message regarding the power of peer support.

I had to bring that message to our community as I know we have many service providers in the crowd, and she humbly accepted my invitation.

We are very much looking forward to hearing about working along side lived experience support workers and truly learning the meaning of compassion this week right here,

On Hard Knox Talks.
