This is a jam packed episode of Hanging With Apes! The guys kick it off by tackling the subject of Brett Kavanaugh, President Trump's Supreme Court Justice nomination. K. Cartoon and Rx Phonics go back and fourth about the potential outcome of this particular nominee and how the left-wing of the country is outraged about it. Chicago politics is next on the agenda with a recent poll showing incumbent Mayor Rahm Emanuel doing poorly in terms of support from the city's residents. Taking full advantage of the situation, ex chief of Chicago police and mayoral challenger Garry McCarthy lends his suggestion to what should be done with the $95 million that Mayor Emanuel wants to use to build a new police academy. Next, the Apes talk about a protest against violence whose participants attempted to shut down a major Chicago expressway. The Governor of Illinois, Bruce Rauner was criticized for his take on the issue which the guys take some time to analyze. Finally the episode closes out with the topic of Stockton, California giving 100 of it's residents $500 a month for 18 months as part of a universal basic income experiment which is supported by the likes of Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk.
