Elliot Kallen is the 14th inspiring interview in the G&R Podcast’s Rebirth series. Elliot has run Prosperity Financial Group, which is a wealth management firm, for over 30 years. He is also the Co-Founder and President of A Brighter Day, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping teens manage depression and stress.

Elliot and his wife started A Brighter Day in 2015 in memory of their youngest son, Jake, who ended his life by suicide when he was 19 years old. So they have certainly had their own personal experience with Grief and Rebirth. You may be surprised to learn that every year, millions of teenagers struggle with thoughts of depression, deep sadness, isolation, stress, and feeling of helplessness. And because of their mental health issues, thousands commit suicide. Sadly, and too often, the parents of these teens are the last to learn about their child’s mental problems, and sometimes it’s too late to act.
