In the Book of Acts, Jesus' followers started identifying each other as brothers and sisters. After the Book of Acts, they no longer referred to each other as disciples.

That is the language of family. God has called us to be family. We are part of His household.

We are citizens of the Kingdom of heaven. That means we have the DNA, the essence, and the values of the Kingdom of God. When we gather as God's people, as family, it expresses something distinct, separate, and unique. We become a reflection of what family looks like in heaven.

When we carry each other's burdens, love each other, and work through reconciliation, we look different from the world.

We live from the ecosystem of heaven.

That is what it means to be part of the household of God.
