In a introduction on a series of the Book of Psalms Pastor Doug spoke on how Psalms 139 reveals the God is not distant. He knows us. He knows us so well that He knows what we will do before we do. Because God is near He sees us at the darkest moments of our life. Nothing slips past His gaze. We cannot hide. What an intimidating thought! But he has shown his love that even while we were sinning Christ still died for us! Pastor Doug finally encouraged us with the fact that God has made us and that each one of our days on this Earth has a special purpose in His eyes. God knows us, He is near, and He is involved with every aspect of our life. How fitting for us to trust our lives with Jesus Christ who knows us, came near to us, and intimately involved Himself with our lives!
