The construction of a new primary school in the community of La Guerre, Babonneau is underway following a sod turning ceremony on the grounds of the building site.

The project is being undertaken at a cost of some EC$7.5 million, through funding from the Government of Saint Lucia and co-financed by the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB).
