In the first half of our series so far, we\u2019ve entered the outer court of the Tabernacle, separated from the people, set apart for an encounter with God.

We have sacrificed at the bronze altar, experiencing the cleansing of the Cross at salvation, where Christ died for us.

We have washed at the washbasin through baptism and a life of sanctification, because we have embraced our identity as fully set apart for Him, His royal priesthood.

We took time so that we would grasp the weight of the privilege that is ours.

And now, it all comes down to this moment: we are faced with the invitation to proceed into the presence of God and enter the holy place.

We have learned that only the priesthood was allowed into that hallowed space. In Christ, we are His royal priesthood, acquired at the great cost of His very life.

And today\u2014now\u2014is the time we reverently step in.

Holy hush.

Reverent awe.

Behold your God.
