How can we actively develop humility in our spiritual life, the kind of genuine, precious humility that will put a smile on our Father's face?\xa0

Genuine, relentless humility is a life-long commitment.

\n

Stephanie takes us on a journey to experience what has been called the "spiritual disciplines" in light of our quest to delight more in God. She quotes John Piper:\xa0\u201cNow, THAT would be the greatest salvation imaginable\u2014if God should offer us the greatest reality in the universe to enjoy, and then move in us to see to it that we could enjoy it with the greatest freedom and the greatest pleasure possible.\u201d

Truly, that\u2019s all we need. Let this mindset seep deeply into your being, and it will bear fruit. Be relentlessly humble. Cultivate relentless humility. It\u2019s the secret. It\u2019s actually super easy, but it requires a lifetime of practice.

Paul said, \u201cby the grace\xa0of God I am what I am, and his grace to me\xa0was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them\u2014yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.\u201d `1cor 15:10

That\u2019s the balance: God does ALL the work\u2014THROUGH us. We\u2019re not in charge. We\u2019re the car, He\u2019s the driver. Yet He chooses to use this car.\xa0So, today we\u2019re going to look at the other side of this "delight-in-God" coin: our participation. God invites us to participate even as He teaches us HOW to delight in Him.
