The name derives from the Old English 'hallowed' meaning holy or sanctified and is now usually contracted to the more familiar word Hallowe'en.    Now as a kid I really didn\u2019t enjoy scary movies and as an adult I try to stay away from them as much as possible because they don\u2019t appeal to me.  It doesn\u2019t mean that I have never watched them but I really don\u2019t enjoy them.  So, what am I going to talk about?  Scary movies I have seen that shaped my opinion and what I think about Halloween as a whole you might not like what I have to say\u2026.
