This has been a great year for American's to exercise their right, especially their right to vote. Jesus wasn't interested in politics of society; He was interested in teaching people the word of God.

Here is the story of how Jesus responded to taxes

Matthew 22:15-25 "15 Then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words. 16 They sent their disciples to him along with the Herodians. \u201cTeacher,\u201d they said, \u201cwe know that you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You aren\u2019t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are. 17 Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay the imperial tax[a] to Caesar or not?\u201d 18 But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, \u201cYou hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me? 19 Show me the coin used for paying the tax.\u201d They brought him a denarius, 20 and he asked them, \u201cWhose image is this? And whose inscription?\u201d 21 \u201cCaesar\u2019s,\u201d they replied. Then he said to them, \u201cSo give back to Caesar what is Caesar\u2019s, and to God what is God\u2019s.\u201d

22When they heard this; they were amazed. So they left him and went away."
