Samuel Bazawule turned Blitz the Ambassador after he touched down on American shores after 18 years in Ghana. The mixing of cultural waters woke him up, and he now takes up all tools at his disposal. \u201cWe cannot underestimate any of the channels we have available to us,\u201d he stresses, \u201cWe must fire on all cylinders.\u201d Instead of allowing non-Africans to shape identity and understanding, he calls for \u201ca new canon of African storytellers\u201d engaging in \u201cnon-linear, complex\u201d dialogue to reclaim and enrich African identities.
