b'GBA Edinburgh Festival 2012 Season: Three weeks of episodes related to the Edinburgh Festival 2012\\n\\n(This was last year\'s season: http://soundcloud.com/gettingbetteracquainted/sets/fringe-festival-season)\\n\\nIn GBA 70 we get better acquainted with Superbard (aka George). He talks about telling stories, playing instruments, the God number, developing, refining and improving work and being an optimist. It was recorded at Edinburgh Waverly Station last Sunday after a weekend of hardcore Edinburgh Festival-ing. It\'s the episode I\'ve been most exhausted while recording and has had the fasted editing turnaround of the series so far, with the majority of it being edited on the train back to London. \\n\\nThis is the second episode of the 2012 GBA Edinburgh Festival Season (http://goosefat101twitterspills.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/around-year-ago-getting-better.html) \\n\\nOver the next few weeks there will be conversations with people doing shows up there this year plus on Friday they\'ll be this year\\u2019s Edinburgh special documenting my journey into the opening weekend of the festival, mixed in with previews, reviews and extra snippets of conversation.\\n\\nGeorge has a brilliant show. We talk about it in our conversation. And I went to see it in Edinburgh before we recorded the conversation. It charmed me completely (in a good way!)\\n\\nSuperbard doesn\'t plug his show:\\n\\nSuperbard Starts to Save the World: http://www.edfringe.com/whats-on/spoken-word/superbard-starts-to-save-the-world\\n\\n9.10pm 8-19 August at Spotlites @ The Merchants\' Hall Price: \\xa38.50 / \\xa37.50\\n\\nInstead he plugs previous guest Lucy Ayrton\'s show (which he has directed):\\n\\nLullabies to Make Your Children Cry:http://www.edfringe.com/whats-on/spoken-word/lucy-ayrton-lullabies-to-make-your-children-cry\\n\\n6.20pm 4-14 August @ The Banshee Labyrinth Price: FREE (It is part of the excellent PBH Free Fringe) Duration 1hr\\n\\nLucy was featured in episode 1 of this year\'s Edinburgh Festival Season: http://soundcloud.com/gettingbetteracquainted/gba-69-lucy\\n\\nAlso mentioned:\\n\\nAn early part of his show that was performed and podcasted here: http://soundcloud.com/standuptragedy/stand-up-tragedy-07\\n\\nTea Fuelled Art: http://www.teafuelledart.co.uk\\n\\nStand Up Tragedy: http://www.standuptragedy.co.uk/\\n\\nSpark London: http://www.edfringe.com/whats-on/spoken-word/grant-s-true-tales-presents-spark-london-storytelling\\n\\nAutumn Shift: http://autumnshift.co.uk/\\n\\nZombies, Run!: https://www.zombiesrungame.com/\\n\\nFlea Circus: http://www.fleacircuslondon.co.uk/\\n\\nhttp://www.edfringe.com/whats-on/spoken-word/flea-circus-open-slam\\n\\nSoho Stories: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/soho-stories/id528325471?mt=8\\n\\nHackney Hear: http://www.hackneyhear.com/\\n\\nHardcore History: http://www.dancarlin.com/disp.php/hh\\n\\nBAC "Scratch": http://www.bac.org.uk/search/?q=scratch/\\n\\nYou can hear Getting Better Acquainted on Stitcher SmartRadio, Stitcher allows you to listen to your favourite shows directly from your iPhone, Android Phone, Kindle Fire and beyond.\\n\\nOn-demand and on the go!\\n\\nDon\\u2019t have Stitcher?
