Who Do You Work For? (Johnson)

We know that we all have to earn a living. You have to make ends meet. You must work or have an income that follows you into retirement. But the question is a good one, namely, \u201cWho do you work for?\u201d Our Gospel reading today reminds us that whatever we do for a living, like the first Apostles, in this Gospel, like Matthew (Levi) we are employed by the Lord Jesus in His work! And all of us would agree, working for Jesus is \u201cAlways Better\u201d no matter what we do! Amen? Amen.
