One of the more difficult things about our world is that it can flat out make you sad. How many times have you thought to yourself \u201cI have to stop watching the news on TV...it\u2019s just depressing!\u201d And yet, as a Christian living in what can be a \u201cdepressing\u201d world, we are called to \u201crejoice\u201d...but we\u2019re called to a specific reason to rejoice, namely, the hope we have in our Lord Jesus Christ. Our hope is not sketchy but sure and certain. Our hope isn\u2019t a \u201cmight be\u201d but is a \u201cdone deal\u201d. So today we\u2019re reminded that rejoicing in the hope is God\u2019s will in our lives and is one piece in the beautiful tapestry of the Christian life!
