One of the most amazing truths of the birth of Jesus is where He was born. We often hear it said \u201cJesus should have been born in a palace\u201d or \u201cJesus should have been born in a beautiful hospital\u201d and that\u2019s all true. But the reminder today is that it\u2019s not exactly true...you see, no earthly location would have ever been good enough for our Lord Jesus. Huge Palace? Massive Castle? State-of-the-art Hospital? Solid gold room in the finest ever hotel? None of them are good enough. This isn\u2019t just a king...this is the King of kings! No earthly locale would suffice to honor Him. And that\u2019s the point...He didn\u2019t come to be honored, He came to be the humble servant of humanity. The manger/stable of old simply foreshadowed the criminal\u2019s death He would die for the sins of the world as through Him we inherit heaven itself!
