One of the most profound, amazing and wonderful truths found in the Apostle\u2019s Creed comes from what is the shortest of the three Articles. The First Article simply reads \u201cI believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.\u201d Short. Sweet. To the point. But to the point of what? Well...that God is our Father and Maker and Creator. We are indeed \u201cfearfully and wonderfully made\u201d by Him. We are not a product of chance or happenstance. We are not a link in a evolutionary chain that simply happened to come about \u201cif given enough time\u201d as it\u2019s said. We are a purposeful creation of the purposeful God. What implications in our world today does that truth bring for us and for those outside the Church? Today, we\u2019ll get at that as we remember that we are \u201cCreated by the Father!\u201d
