Driven by personal experience with type 2 diabetes and the belief that there is a severe lack of understanding and knowledge about the body and physiological processes at work in diabetes and obesity, Rob Taub has become a type 2 diabetes advocate and one of four ambassadors for Know Diabetes By Heart, a joint venture between the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association.
