Tui Snider (TuiSnider.com) is a travel writer, speaker, and photographer who specializes in quirky, haunted, and downright bizarre destinations in Texas - and beyond.\n\n\nAs she puts it, "I used to write fiction - but then, I moved to Texas!"\n\n\nTui Snider's best-selling books inspired by the Dallas - Fort Worth area include a travel guide to haunted hotspots called Paranormal Texas, a road trip guide to offbeat and overlooked places called Unexpected Texas & a strange-but-true slice of history entitled The Lynching of the Santa Claus Bank Robber (with the latter 2 titles earning 1st & 2nd Place at the North Texas Book Festival.)\n\n\nTui\u2019s writing and photographs have been featured by a variety of publications, including Coast to Coast AM, FOX Travel News, LifeHack, the City of Plano and more. She was recently chosen by Tarleton State University to be the 2016 writer & photographer-in-residence for the Langdon Review.\n\n\nAmong other projects, Tui is currently writing a Field Guide to Historic Cemetery Symbols and a book about the 1897 UFO crash in Aurora, Texas. She recently visited historic graveyards in Puerto Rico, Gibraltar, Spain and England as research.\n\n\nTui co-hosts 2 weekly podcasts with Teal Gray; one focuses on "hard science\u201d (TGWW Radio) & the other on the unexplained (Para Mysteries.) When not obsessing over her creative projects, Tui composes dreamy electronic music.
