Rene Steelman is a veteran of the US Navy and served in an era of few woman recruits and lots of sexual harassment. She learned early in her career as the only woman in the Navy photo lab that she had to fight for her rights and respect. As a wife, mother, and grandmother, she has accumulated a wealth of wisdom, experiencing some by choice, while others by the life\u2019s journey she is presented with.\n\nHer mission is to bring hope, value, and strength to others as they journey through life\u2019s challenges by letting them know that they are not alone. She believes that we have been placed on earth to lift each other up, to bear one another\u2019s burdens, and to help each other rewrite our life\u2019s plans as needed.\xa0\n\nRene\u2019s book, Heaven Sent & Bent: Becoming a Mother of Strength, tells the story of her house full of imperfect children and grandchildren, and about her youngest child TJ, born perfect on the outside, however, the inside of his body was damaged by Cerebral Palsy and other health challenges, and is wheelchair bound.\n\nJoin Rene Steelman and me on Thursday, November 2, 10-11 A.M.
