It's interesting that the Lord never shows us only all the political things in the Old Testament or even New Testament but shows us many personal details and experiences of those who served God throughout time. For example, we don't only hear about Pharoah's corruption except for where it pertains to the people of God. We aren't hearing all about Julius Caesar and Nebbucadnezzar's shennanegans unless it directly interfaces with God's people or God's Son. What are we focusing on every day as God's people today?
