They were Jews living as captives under Roman rule - we are proud Canadians experiencing incredible levels of freedom. They were the lower class labouring hard just to eak out an existence while many of us, in Alberta, continue to experience incredible prosperity. Yet there is one thing, it seems, that we experience in common. It's something insidious that continues to derail spiritual journeys to this day. On Sunday, we want to share an antidote that Jesus offered.
