Mental Health Awareness Month 2019

Published: May 1, 2019, 7:15 p.m.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, so Josh kicked it off with two guests who are very active in promoting mental health across Northeast Wisconsin.

Beth Clay runs the NEW Mental Health Connection, a membership collaborative committed to improving access to quality services and reducing stigma in the community. Kaytie is an on-air host on Razor Wisconsin who has worked for years to amplify a message of caring and openness amid repeated tragedy in the rock industry. Listen to learn more about what they are doing, what trends we are seeing in the region, and how you can help someone who might be struggling.

If you are looking for someone to talk to, please call 1-800-273-8255. There are caring people who want to listen.
