We hear it all the time, we know you do too: \u201cJesus said to go and sin no more!\u201d Well, honestly beloved, enough is enough!
Remember that Bible story: \u201cJesus Scatters Self-Righteous Men in the Name of Mercy and Justice!\u201d No? Hmmm\u2026 How about this one: \u201cThe Woman Caught in Adultery.\u201d Yeah, that\u2019s more familiar. It\u2019s the same story, but a completely different interpretation.

The commonly taught interpretation misses the main point, which is that these men in authority have manipulated and exploited and abused this woman!

Jesus is not calling out the woman\u2014he\u2019s calling out the religious leaders! He doesn\u2019t fall for their tricks\u2014I love that! And he lets the woman go\u2014I LOVE that!
