Ep. 061 - Sgt Nicholas Davison

Published: July 6, 2020, 11 a.m.

This episode features my buddy from the past, Nick Davison. He currently works in law enforcement but we met as organizational mechanics in the Marine Corps for a 2009 deployment to Al-Taqaddum (TQ) airfield in Iraq.

Davison breaks down his time in the United States Marine Corps Reserves and we compare and contrast that component with being on active duty. We also discuss the military occupation specialty (MOS) school located at Camp Johnson, NC.

As previously mentioned, Davison is in law enforcement and breaks down the vetting and lengthy hiring process for multiple law enforcement agencies in California. He also talks about being a K-9 handler and what it was like working with dogs.

It was really great catching up with Nick and talking about our time working together. This is a great episode for anyone considering a career in the Marine Corps reserves or in law enforcement so make sure to share it with those it could help!

As always, make sure to subscribe and share the show!
