Chapter 11 of the Gita and Purusha Sukta express the same concept - universal form of the consciousness in a poetic way to say that whatever & wherever we see - we see infinite bellies, eyes, ears, hands, legs. This is a poetic expression of the multitude that we experience in the universe - another way of saying that the consciousness which underlies everything we experience is the same in all beings.
