I had such a blast talking with Kim Iffert from Crossroads Campus on the podcast this week.
\nCrossroads Campus is a multifaceted social enterprise and nonprofit supporting the Nashville area.
\nCrossroads includes a pet rescue, affordable housing, internships, job training, a retail shop, a grooming facility, and humane education outreach! They bring together people and animals and through that strong human-animal bond have seen incredible transformations.
\nAs our charity of the month, we're coming together as a community to like and support them on social media. You can follow them at @CrossroadsPets on Facebook and Instagram and $5 for everything sold in our Etsy shop this month will be donated too.
\nSIMPLE IDEA:
\nWait for consent. When it comes to animals, they need to have a voice. Before we start changing things, pay attention to what they are doing, their body language, and what they\u2019re saying before we make a move. This easily applies to humans as well. Patience. Stop. Observe.
