I had such a blast talking with Kim Iffert from Crossroads Campus on the podcast this week.

Crossroads Campus is a multifaceted social enterprise and nonprofit supporting the Nashville area.

\n

Crossroads includes a pet rescue, affordable housing, internships, job training, a retail shop, a grooming facility, and humane education outreach! They bring together people and animals and through that strong human-animal bond have seen incredible transformations.

SIMPLE IDEA:

Wait for consent. When it comes to animals, they need to have a voice.  Before we start changing things, pay attention to what they are doing, their body language, and what they\u2019re saying before we make a move.  This easily applies to humans as well. Patience. Stop. Observe.
