Greek Week: Atalanta and Medusa

Published: Aug. 16, 2020, noon

It\u2019s our first Greek Week! Unfortunately, Blaize decided to leave this project, so Sabryna (our editor) will be stepping in as new co-host of Folk-Told Folk-Tales. While Julianna tells the story of Atalanta and Meleager (aka the She-bear and the Boy Who Burned), Sabryna will be covering the terrible tale of Medusa. Even if you\u2019ve heard the story of the snake-haired gorgon, you haven\u2019t heard it like this. Complete with Justice League references and dismantling the patriarchy, this is a female-centered and adventurous episode.\n\nReferences\n\nhttps://www.ibiblio.org/ml/libri/b/BerensEM_MythsLegends_p.pdf\n\nhttps://www.britannica.com/topic/Atalanta\n\nhttps://study.com/academy/lesson/who-was-atalanta-in-greek-mythology.html\n\nhttps://greekgodsandgoddesses.net/myths/medusa/\n\nhttps://www.vice.com/en_us/article/qvxwax/medusa-greek-myth-rape-victim-turned-into-a-monster\n\nhttps://www.greekmythology.com/Myths/Creatures/Medusa/medusa.html\n\nhttps://greekgodsandgoddesses.net/myths/medusa/
