Self Care begins by recognizing what it is that you love to do and do more of what you it. Self care is the ability to recognize what you need and then give it to yourself: down time, vacation, quiet time, a happy place! You are worth it and if you think you have to take care of others first, please remember the safety instructions that we have heard so many time before we take off on a plane ride: Put your oxygen mask on first and then help others. Self Care - if you don't give it to yourself, no one else will, thus the term: Self care!
