Dr. Chuck Kelley\xa0served as\xa0the\xa0eighth\xa0President of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary\xa0from 1996 to 2019\xa0and\xa0continues as President Emeritus and Distinguished Research Professor of Evangelism. He is founder and director of Innovative Evangelism as well as an itinerant preacher and evangelist. Dr. Kelley is known throughout the Southern Baptist Convention for his dynamic preaching and his expertise on evangelism and church growth.
Since his retirement as President of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary on July 31, 2019, Dr. Kelley and his wife, Dr. Rhonda Kelley, moved to Fairhope and immediately became part of the fabric at First. Since Rhonda\u2019s homegoing, Chuck has continued in encouraging pastors and staff even during this season of life.\xa0
