John Farwell joins us once again to discuss the power struggle in First Century Judea.
Herod enjoyed calling himself king, and taking the glory and honor and power of said role for himself. However, Yeshua (Jesus) did the opposite: as Philippians 2:5-11 demonstrates, even though He already possessed all things, Christ emptied Himself and came in the likeness of the lowest of civil classes: a slave. While Herod was a man filled with pride and puffed up, Jesus was humble, even to the point of death on the cross.
Join us in this discussion as we contrast the earthly kingship of Herod vs. the eternal Kingship of Jesus Christ!
