01. Paying the Rent with Coffee Beans: Jesse Walters of Camacho Coffee

Published: May 29, 2020, 12:34 a.m.

Jesse Walters, co-owner of Camacho Coffee alongside his wife, Megan, is equal parts renaissance man and Robin Hood. From Boonville, Jesse emulates exactly the type of person you would want to come out of Mid-Missouri with a passion to make the world a better place. He graduated from Columbia College with a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management and obtained an MBA from William Woods University. He started a coffee roasting company that, since the very first day, has given a portion of sales back to non-profit organizations that make a difference in his town. In fact, he even started roasting coffee to help his wife find a coffee that she was able to drink on a regular basis. His head and his heart are in the right place, and we’re honored to have hosted him for the first FinalVibe podcast interview. We talk business, coffee, cults, books, the current state of affairs (coronavirus) and so much more. You can learn more about Camacho Coffee at https://camachocoffee.com/, and you can find a variety of their blends at most grocery stores in Columbia (you can also find it in the Coffee Stout from Broadway Brewery).
