Supernatural Horror Films - 1408 vs Rosemary's Baby

Published: Aug. 27, 2021, 11 p.m.

This week on the pod as a new version of a cult horror classic hits our big screens, Candyman. We will be focusing our attentions to a big subject of supernatural horror films. And try not to say Candyman four times of course, that would be silly.

Warning will be talking SPOILERS.

Boaz's pick this week is a strange one, It's an adaptation of one of Stephen Kings lesser known works, 1408. We have strong opinions about the directing and some of the acting. We talk about how we enjoyed this film in perhaps a way that was not intended, if you know what I mean. IMDB page

Martins pick this week in another classic from the horror genre, Rosemary's Baby. On this one we talk about that very trippy nightmarish unpleasant scene, that actually might be more disturbing when Rosemary wakes up. We talk about the confidence the director has to literally build up the entire film for that one reaction Rosemary has to her baby. IMDB page
