\nDoug Doetsch grew up in the Western Catskills. His family goes back five generations. There was a strong desire to start an agricultural project. That's how Doug and Susan Manning got started with Seminary Hill Cidery. The land was perfect for an apple and pear orchard. Stuart joined the team in October of 2020. Cider began being produced shortly there after his arrival. Stuart shares his journey of cider making. This is an intriguing story of architect turned cider craftsman. We had a wonderful time tasting two of their delicious expressions and learning more about their ciders that they produce.
