As you look higher up in the ranks of the federal workforce, you\u2019ll find less diversity among some of the government\u2019s senior-most leaders.\nThat lack of diversity in the Senior Executive Service \u2014 the cohort of federal senior leaders serving just under agencies\u2019 top political appointees \u2014 has been evident for decades.
