Federal data isn\u2019t much use if no one can find it. Many chief data officers are running inventories of their data, saying they've got a battle getting their agencies to think critically about it. The Treasury Department\u2019s Bureau of the Fiscal Service is also assessing the maturity of its data and trying to make it more shareable.
