Even though it does get pretty breezy here, Chicago got the nickname \u201cThe Windy City'' from its boisterous politicians who have a lot to say. Over the years, we\u2019ve had many unusual folks run for political office, like the ACT-UP drag queen performance artist Joan Jett-Blakk who ran for Mayor of the Second City and then later tried to \u201cLick Bush'' in a run for the presidency.

Following that great tradition, Chicago performance artist and drag queen Jezebel \xc0 GoGo, now known as J Saxon joins us today to talk about their foray into the race to become Chicago\u2019s next Mayor as a progressive who wants to abolish the police.

You may remember J Saxon whose first appearance ten years ago on this show \u201cWhy I became a drag queen\u201d looked at the rising tide in favor of young people dressing up in drag to define and express themselves.
