You only have to look at ancient art and writings to know that among human beings, same-sex attraction has existed across time and cultures. Even in the animal kingdom, you\u2019ll see beasts of all shapes and sizes acting like they\u2019re ready to march in a Gay Pride parade.

But in our culture, studying homosexuality comes with a lot of political and religious baggage so it\u2019s difficult making sense of why so many of us are gay.
