064: James Gagliano Drug Gangs, Safe Streets, and Basketball

Retired agent James Gagliano reviews his role as the Supervisory Senior Resident Agent (SSRA) of the New York Division\u2019s Hudson Valley Resident Agency and\xa0forming the Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force.\xa0He also talks about the importance of community policing and how he used his role as basketball coach to encourage, motivate and mentor "at risk" kids.\xa0His multi-agency unit received the \u201cTop Gang Unit\u201d award by the New York Gang Investigator\u2019s Association, and the \u201cTrue American Hero\u201d award from the Federal Drug Agents Foundation for their multiple high profile prosecutions of violent street gangs.\xa0
