Now this was a truly unique episode! First the competitors had to make traditional Texas Bowie Knives, and the judges had to deliberate for 4 hours to decide who moved to round two. For the second round, the competitors had to recreate the Elgin Pistol, by taking apart their Bowie knives and attaching the blade to a pistol. What a delightfully odd weapon!
