Generation Iron first made an impact in 2013 following the 2012 Mr. Olympia competition. In the past 7 years, founder Vlad Yudin has developed a brand that has replaced most of the fitness magazines as he continues to conduct interviews, promote the fitness industry, ask questions most people refuse to make public when it comes to bodybuilding and produce in depth documentaries.
\nIn Generation Iron: Natty 4 Life, Yudin finally addresses one of the smallest and most neglected parts of the sport of bodybuilding and that's the natural athletes.
\nYudin introduces follows the journey of natural competitors Adrian Pietrariu, Philip Ricardo Jr. and former TNA wrestler, Rob Terry on their journey in to compete in the Natural Olympia. The documentary also features fan favorites Kai Greene and the, "controversial" figure, former American Gladiator, Mike O'Hearn. Over the years, people have accused O'Hearn of being a, "fake natty," which he also addresses in the documetnary.
\nWe caught up with Yudin about Generation Iron: Natty 4 Life, the impact the series has had on the industry and has anyone that was previously enhanced switch to natural bodybuilding. Could those competitors be considered natural if they were ever enhanced at one point in time?
