Texas native and B-movie horror host legend, Joe Bob Briggs returns for a new season The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs on Shudder this Friday, April 24, 2020 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET).
\nThe season premiere will be co-hosted by the first ever All Elite Wrestling (AEW) World Heavyweight Champion, Le Champion Chris Jericho for the second half of the double feature. The film they will be hosting in the second half of the double feature is the 1976, Blood Sucking Freaks, directed by Joel M. Reed, who we recently lost to COVID-19 at the age of 86.
\nBriggs discusses the his 30 plus year career, the connection with professional wrestling and horror films and how the horror genre is therapeutic.
\nThe new season of The Last Drive-In is part of April\u2019s Halfway to Halloween Month on Shudder. Other highlights this month include the new series Cursed Films, a new season of Australian slasher Wolf Creek and a special collection of the first eight Friday the 13th movies.
