Today we are very excited to share our interview with Dr. Nile Stanley from University of North Florida. Since 1999, Dr. Stanley has been a professor and poet in residence in five urban Jacksonville elementary schools. He teaches literacy methods and he and his pre-service educators utilize arts-based literacy instruction through poetry! We hope you enjoy the story of Nile's journey and are as inspired as we are by his impact in schools and communities.
